Opposition to help organise referendum

An initiative called Hnevám sa - 'I Am Angry' sent an open letter to democratic opposition parties on Wednesday calling on them to join its effort to organise a referendum in favour of an early parliamentary elections with 2 requests. The first is to publicly encourage their members and supporters to join a petition posted on the internet, and the second is to approach the owners of places such as shops, cafés and restaurants across Slovakia to help with the collection of signatures for the petition. Richard Sulík, leader of the Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party and Igor Matovič, chairman of the OĽaNO party, both stated that they had agreed to the initiative's terms and had already supported it.
