The Tripartite, i.e. Labour Ministry, the Slovak Towns and Villages Association and the Slovak Trade Union Confederation met at the Governmental Office on Monday. The social partners agreed not to support the idea of an extraordinary one-off bank holiday for the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic. Employers fear that such holidays might also be made legal in the future. At the same time, they pointed out the fact that the Slovak Republic already has too many bank holidays.
