In memory of M.R. Štefánik

Friday marks the 99^th anniversary of the tragic death of Milan Rastislav Štefánik, the Slovak general and the Minister of War of the first Czechoslovak Republic. A commemorative event took place in the western Slovak village of Košariská where this scientist, politician and one of the founders of the first Czechoslovakia at the end of WWI was born.
