Smer would win election, liberals come second

If parliamentary elections were held at the end of April, the largest party of the current coalition Smer would win it with 20.5 percent of the vote. This is the result of a survey done by FOCUS agency conducted between April 24-30 in the form of personal interviews. The opposition party Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) would come second with 13.2 percent. The Slovak National Party placed third on 10.1 percent followed by the far-right Kotleba - the People's Party Our Slovakia on 9.3 percent. The Ordinary People and Independent Personalities - NOVA movement, "We Are Family" party, the Christian-Democratic Movement and the current coalition junior-member party of Most-Hid would also make it into Parliament. According to the survey, 71.5 percent of the respondents would cast their votes.
