Family was voted as the most important factor in the lives of Slovak citizens, with work coming in second place, reports a poll carried out by the Sociological Institute within the Slovak Academy of Sciences. This stems from research aimed at detailing European values, which took place from September 27 to November 30, 2017. As part of the research, the institute examined how strongly the respondents attribute work, family and leisure activities to the core areas of their lives. Family, work, religion, friends and acquaintances, leisure and politics were among the areas studied.
