Slovak roster for ice hockey World Championship announced

On Sunday, the coach of the Slovak ice hockey team, Craig Ramsay, announced the list of players who will represent the country in the upcoming ice hockey championship. The roster includes three goalies, eight defencemen and fourteen forwards. The most experienced player on the team is defenceman Dominik Graňák with 183 starts in the national team. The youngest player on the team is another defenceman, Martin Fehérváry. This year, the World Championship in ice hockey takes place in Denmark, more particularly in the cities of Copenhagen and Herning. It starts on Friday May 4th. The Slovak team will play its first match on Saturday May 5th against the Czech Republic.
