Slovakia intends to strengthen cooperation between Slovakia and Poland regarding tax policy. One of the mail goals is to prevent companies from having tax residence abroad or in so- tax havens, stated Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini at his visit in Warsaw after the meeting with his Polish counterpart Mateusz Morawiecki. They were also discussing the tax policy in relation to the digital economy where it is easier to keep tabs on the origin of takings. Pellegrini also stated that Slovakia was ready to organise the 'EU Friends of Cohesion Summit' within the Visegrad Four Presidency it is taking over as of July 1. The V4 group includes the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
