Slovak Prime Minister meets UAE Interior Minister

Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) and United Arab Emirates (UAE) Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on providing rehabilitation programmes and services to the members of the UAE armed forces, the Government Office's press department advised TASR on Tuesday. The programmes will be used by soldiers operating in Yemen who are part of the anti-terrorist coalition led by Saudi Arabia. Representatives of the United Arab Emirates welcomed the Slovak Government's decision to join the fight against global terrorism at the regional and international levels. The UAE interior minister's visit to Slovakia is meant to create a new dynamic for relations between Slovakia and the UAE in the armament and aviation industries.
