Security, strengthening national parliaments and interparliamentary cooperation within the EU are the main topics of the Conference of EU Speakers of Parliaments in Estonia, on Monday. As the TASR press agency cited the Slovak Speaker of Parliament Andrej Danko, parliaments are not an official part of the EU institutional structure, however, they play a significant role within the EU. As part of his stay, Danko also has negotiations with his German and French counterparts on his schedule.
