A six-member team from the Leaf Academy in Bratislava made it into the world finals in the International Public Policy Forum (IPPF) debating competition, in which 158 teams from all around the world participated, wrote the TASR press agency on Sunday. The competition lasted five months and took the form of written essays. The topic of the debate was international agreements on climate change in regard to greenhouse gases. The Slovak team was among the eight best teams in the world, as the only one from Europe.
