RTVS informed on Thursday that the EU anti-fraud agency - OLAF - had opened an investigation into the alleged misuse of EU funds in Slovakia. This was the main topic of articles written by the murdered investigative journalist Ján Kuciak. Since his death in February, Slovak media have informed about alleged links between the Italian mafia and Slovak politicians, as well as suspicious practices regarding EU agricultural funds in the east of the country.
