A 25-year-old man is being charged by police in the city of Nitra for vandalising grave sites in the city's cemetery. As reported by the City Police on its website last week, officers responded to a call from a member of the public concerned about a person acting suspiciously on Cintorinská Street. Police arrived at the site and caught the offender in the act of defiling headstones. According to Nitra police, the culprit wrote "unintelligible text, drew two swastikas and finally drew an illustration of male genitalia." The suspect was detained and faces charges of vandalism.
