On Friday, Slovak volunteers went into the streets with a yellow daffodil pin for the 22nd time. The symbol is used by the League for Fighting Cancer (Slovak Cancer Council). The activity known as "Daffodil Day" has significantly raised awareness of cancer problems in the country. A total of 943, 000 euros was donated last year to the fund for oncological patients and their families.
