In a hurry to make it to a municipal council meeting on Tuesday, Kosice city council member Mária Grüllingová (SMER) made an error in judgement, parking her vehicle in a space reserved for the disabled.
“I was delayed and was in such a hurry that I didn’t notice where I had parked. I'm so sorry, I'm going to move the car immediately”, the council member said when confronted about the error. The council member’s vehicle was parked in the disabled space for several hours and if spotted, could have received a fine of €150. Grüllingová is also the director of the Railway Hospital in Kosice.
