Bilateral relationships, in particular in the field of economy and innovations, are the main topics that Slovak president Andrej Kiska and his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in are discussing at their meeting in Korea which started on Monday. Kiska is accompanied by Deputy Economy Minister Rastislav Chovanec and Pavol Šajgalík, chair of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Meeting significant Korean investors in Slovakia as well as representatives of the Korean Association for International Trade is on Kiska's schedule together with a visit to the Pangyo Techno Valley innovation centre. The Asian country is one of the most important non-European investors in Slovakia, as almost 100 Korean companies have invested €2.5 billion in Slovakia so far. For Korea, Slovakia is the fourth most significant market in the EU. This is Kiska's first official visit to South Korea initiated by Moon Jae-inwho invited the Slovak to his country.
