Illegal aliens stopped in central Slovakia

Police stopped a truck on Friday morning travelling through the central Slovak town of Zvolen which had illegal aliens hiding inside, confirmed Police Corps Presidium Spokesperson Denisa. The vehicle was a truck with Serbian registration. When police stopped the vehicle and spoke to the driver, they searched the rear of the vehicle to discover four people who could not prove their identity nor their purpose in Slovakia. "The case has already under the control of an investigator of the Border and Alien Police Department and involves the offense of human trafficking; a crime which can result in a sentence of imprisonment for three to eight years," stated Baloghová. The foreign police department has taken custody of the individuals in question.
