Žilina customs officers have discovered that 169 Rubik's cubes located in specialty toy stores and commodity stores appear to be fake. This was confirmed to TASR by Žilina Customs Office Spokesperson Božena Chríbiková. She added that customs officers visited several establishments to inspect the conditions of the cubes' originality. In four toy shops and two different assortment shops, all Rubik's cubes showed signs of intellectual property rights violations. "The trademark owner has confirmed that the cubes are counterfeit, so they will be liquidated in the near future," explained the Customs Office spokesperson.
