On Thursday Slovakia celebrates fourteen years in The North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Slovakia joined the organisation on the 29th of March, 2004. It did so together with Bulgaria, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania and Slovenia. On this occasion, Minister of Defence Peter Gajdoš once again mentioned Slovakia's commitments to increase the defence and modernisation budget.
