Slovakia agrees that all member countries should contribute more to the common EU budget than they currently do. However, it will push to simplify the rules for implementing projects co-financed from the EU budget, according to a document approved by the new Slovak Cabinet at its session on Wednesday. "In the programming period after 2020 it is crucial to support simplified methods of financing, such as simplified reporting of expenditures and payments based on meeting conditions instead of financing based on real costs," reads the document.
