The rebuilt government, led by newly-appointed Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) met on Wednesday for its first regular working session together since receiving a narrow vote of confidence last week. Despite changes in the key posts, the Government Office did not reset the number of the meeting from this election period, with this being the 96th Cabinet meeting. EU funding appeared as a key topic at today's meeting, including increases in payments to the EU budget for member states. However, the rules for implementing projects co-financed by the EU should be simplified.
