Uber must stop offering taxi services in Slovakia through drivers and vehicles that do not meet legal requirements, according to a decision of the District Court Bratislava I. This means that the company will have to shut down its application in Slovakia, which is still operational in Bratislava. More than 100,000 users have been registered in the Uber application for more than two years on the Slovak market. Since its arrival, many of the Bratislava taxi drivers have been protesting against it. According to them, due to lower prices, it deforms the business environment and gains an unfair advantage in a competitive battle. Uber has not commented yet on the court's decision.
