Biathlete Kuzmina Claims Small Crystal Globe

After winning the small Sprint Crystal Globe on March 23^rd, Russian-born Slovak biathlete Anastasiya Kuzmina on Saturday claimed another World Cup prize - the Pursuit Crystal Globe. Despite finishing sixth in the 9th round of the World Cup in the pursuit race in Tyumen, Russia, it was enough for Kuzmina to claim the small Pursuit Crystal Globe, her second ever. The 10-kilometre pursuit race was won by Finland's Kaisa Makarainen. Kuzmina, with four penalties, crossed the finish line 59.9 seconds later. Another Slovak biathlete, Paula Fialkova, ended up 13th in the pursuit race.
