Slovakia to be helped by Finns in education reform

The Education Ministry wants to submit the National Programme for Development and Education for the inter-ministerial commentary phase in the near future, stated Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sports Martina Lubyová (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee) at a press conference on Thursday. The education minister pointed out that with regards to the current political situation in the country, the document hasn't yet been submitted for comments. "We have used this time to exchange our experiences with the Finnish experts," she said, adding that the results of the national programme will be visible in practice in some ten years. Lubyová further said that the Finnish education system is considered to be one of the best in the world.
