Foreigners police moved to new facilities

As of Monday, the Slovak Foreign Police Department has moved to new premises at Regrútska street 4 in Bratislava in the city borough of Vajnory. As the spokesperson of the Interior Ministry Andrea Dobiášová said, the institution will work under a so-called test regime during the first days. "The new premises have undergone complete renovation to meet the standards of a modern building. The comfort has been increased with a children's play area and wheelchair access," said Dobiášová. There are 27 parking spaces in front of the building and the Foreign Police Department is negotiating about increasing this number as well as about better public transport links. Another new feature are the advisory days of the International Organization for Migration. "Thus, clients can obtain important information about residence, work, operating a business and insurance in one place," added Dobiášová.
