Employers' expectations in Slovakia are optimistic for the second quarter of this year. According to a regular survey conducted by Manpower on a sample of 750 employers in Slovakia, 16% of the surveyed employers expect an increase in the number of their staffers in the period from April to June of this year and 4% of those polled expect a decline. The agency stated that the Slovak labour market is in a particularly good shape. Compared to the first quarter of this year, the so-called net labour market index in Slovakia improved by 3 percentage points and year-on-year it increased by 2 percentage points.
