The United Kingdom leaving the European Union is actually an opportunity for Slovakia to attract its countrymen back home, stated State Secretary of the Slovak Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs on Tuesday. This was stated during a meeting with an interdepartmental coordination group for Brexit, as well as employer and NGO representatives. "We talked about how to use Britain's departure," said Korčok, who leads the group. President of the Slovak Association of Employers Unions (AZZZ) Tomáš Malatinský, added, "We see this as an opportunity for those people who went to the UK, to be able to return to Slovakia. This is a very high-quality workforce." Korčok stated that enticing these skilled Slovaks to return home requires across the board cooperation of all authorities involved," he said.
