The Government of the United States continues to monitor developments in Slovakia closely in the wake of the murders of investigative journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnírová, reads a press release provided to TASR by the US Embassy in Bratislava on Thursday. "As Slovak society is grappling with the consequences of this crime, we call on all parties to refrain from using conspiracy theories and disinformation," reads the text, adding that the Prague-based Office of the FBI Legal Attaché has been providing assistance to the Slovak law enforcement bodies investigating the case.
