Slovak President Andrej Kiska has proposed the adoption of a joint declaration aimed at calming the current tense political atmosphere. Kiska announced this ahead of the scheduled meeting between the country's three top constitutional officials at Bratislava Castle on Friday. This was announced following a meeting with a delegation of European Union politicians who arrived to Slovakia on Thursday to investigate the situation surrounding the murder of investigative journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnírová.
