Tourism in Slovakia is doing very well, stated the transport ministry this week. According to the statistics it sited, within first three quarters of 2017 the country registered 4.2 million guests, which means an increase of 8% in comparison with 2016. Collectively, local and foreign guests booked more than 12 million nights in total in Slovakia with the average duration of stay being almost three nights.
