Nearly a quarter of registered unemployed individuals in Slovakia at the end of January of this year were people under 29 years of age, according to data from the Labour Office. Moreover, 18.3 percent of those out of work were younger than 20. Conversely, close to 8,000 unemployed people were older than 60.
