The Russian Energy Ministry reassured that the decision by Gazprom, the gas giant, to terminate the current agreement on supplying gas to Ukraine, will not affect supplies to Europe, wrote the TASR press agency on Sunday. On Saturday, Ukrainian President Petro Porošenko informed that Ukraine had managed to increase gas supplies from Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, thus compensating the losses stemming from Gazprom's step.
