In the opinion of the Most-Hid party, Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák should resign, said its leader Béla Bugár on Thursday. Murdered journalist Ján Kuciak had reported on Kaliňák's alleged connections to shady business people. Bugár, however, added that this decision was in the hand of the Minister's party, Smer. He does not think that the entire Government should be sacrificed. A junior coalition party, Most-Hid, lost one MP on Friday when Igor Janckulik announced he would leave the caucus. Neither the Interior Minister nor the Smer party have reacted so far to Most-Hid's statement.
