Speaker of Slovak Parliament Andrej Danko (SNS) is in favour of strengthening the role of national parliaments within the European Union. He made this statement at the meeting of the Speakers of Parliaments of the Višegrad Four (Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic) in Budapest on Friday. Danko also spoke about the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation. According to him, this is a currency without which any national parliamentary activity in the EU is unthinkable in the long run.
