The Cabinet on Wednesday approved two decrees laying down the basis for a pay rise for state employees and the staff of public administration as of the next year. Tariff wages of state employees will be raised by a fixed amount of €16 from 1 January, 2014. Under the new salary tariffs, wages of state employees can range from €338 to a little over €950, which is the highest tariff category.
