Slovak trying to board a plane without boarding pass dies

A 40-year old Slovak man, who last Friday attempted to get onto a plane to Bratislava at Brussels South Charleroi Airport without a boarding pass, has died. The man was escorted from the plane by Belgian police. Belgian authorities are already investigating whether the police intervention against him was inappropriately severe and thus might have caused the man's death. The Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry summoned the Belgian Ambassador residing in Vienna, Willem A. G. Van de Voorde, and have called for a thorough and unbiased investigation into the man's death.
