Breaking News: Two of PM’s advisors to temporarily step down

Viliam Jasaň and Mária Trošková, the two advisors to Prime Minister Robert Fico, and who were mentioned in the ongoing investigation of murdered journalist Ján Kuciak, have decided to temporarily step down from their positions. According to Kuciak's last article published posthumously, the two had business ties to Italians allegedly linked to the mafia. In a common statement released on Wednesday afternoon, both strongly rejected any connection to the tragedy. "Given the fact that our names are being abused in the political struggle against Prime Minister Robert Fico, we have decided to leave our positions at the Cabinet Office until the investigation of this case is completed," reads the statement.
