Prime Minister Robert Fico and leader of the SMER-SD party said that he had a clear ambition to win the general election in 2020 for the fifth time and set up a fourth government. The statement is in contradiction with reports brought by several media recently that Fico would like to run for the position of Constitutional Judge. The leader of the strongest opposition Freedom and Solidarity party, Richard Sulík, said for the Denník N daily that they would defeat SMER-SD even without Fico hiding in Constitutional Court.
