After finishing in the last, fourth, place in their group, Slovaks will face the USA at 4:10 am CET in the quarter finals, at the Olympic ice hockey tournament in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Slovaks already played against the USA in the group stage, losing 2:1. In other matches, they lost 3:2 after a shootout against Slovenia and defeated Russia 3:2 in the tournament opener.
