On Monday the National Highway Company launched the sale of new highway vignettes for 2014. They can be valid for a period of a year, a month or ten days for the price of €50, €14 and €10 respectively. Next year will be the last one when drivers of cars of up to 3.5 tons will buy paper vignettes.
These will be entirely replaced by e-vignettes from 2015. The National Highway Company is to announce in the coming days the scheduled tender for the complex service of provision, registration and control of payment of electronic vignettes for the use of the selected road stretches in Slovakia.
