On Sunday, Slovak football goal keeper Martin Dúbravka helped his team Newcastle United defeat the richest team in the world, Manchester United, 1:0 in his debut in the English Premier league. He thus became the first Slovak ever to play in the League in the position of goalkeeper. Historically, Dúbravka became the 16th Slovak to appear in the Premier League. "I tried to focus on the match and how to help my team in critical situations," said the 29-year-old Slovak. "He was composed and that gave confidence to the team," said Newcastle United coach, Rafael Benitez, commenting on Dúbravka's performance.
