Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák will represent Slovakia at the official farewell to the late former South African president Nelson Mandela who died at the age of 95 on Thursday.
The farewell ceremony takes place at the Johannesburg football stadium which has a 95,000 capacity. The funeral is expected to be one of the largest in modern history and is due to see global leaders like US President Barack Obama with his wife Michelle, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, French President Francois Hollande and German President Joachim Gauck.
