The Slovak Armed Forces which are part of the NATO's Strategic Airlift Interim Solution (SALIS) programme is gradually moving military equipment from Afghanistan, Defence Ministry spokesperson Martina Balleková informed.
The international ISAF operation in Afghanistan should finish at the end of 2014. NATO, however, will stay in Afghanistan to provide support and consultancy to the domestic security forces.
