The Government is to be represented on the Judicial Council by Branislav Jablonka and Magdaléna Hromcová, with their nominations being approved on Wednesday. Two out of three posts reserved for Government-sponsored nominees have been vacant since September 2017. Justice Minister Lucia Žitňanská (Most-Hid) submitted the names after Parliament in the previous week managed to elect the third Government representative for the Judicial Council; Michal Mišík.
