Last week, a book of reminiscences and stories - 'Diplomacy During the Creation of Slovakia' - was presented. It was christened by Foreign and European Affairs Minister, Miroslav Lajčák, alongside three other former foreign affairs ministers from the early 1990s: Milan Kňažko, Pavol Demeš and Eduard Kukan. The publication is a collection of memoirs and witness accounts by Slovak representatives and architects of the then-fledging foreign affairs service. Released on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Slovak Republic, it aims to capture the extraordinary events and the unique climate in which Slovak foreign affairs institutions came into existence.
