Last weekend Slovak ice hockey player Zdeno Chára played in his 1,400th game in National Hockey league. The 40-year-old is the Slovak with the most games in the best league in the world. Since 2006, he has been the captain of Boston Bruins. In 2009, he won the Norris trophy, awarded to the best defenceman in the league. In 2011, Chára became the first Slovak to lift up the Stanley Cup, the championship trophy awarded to the NHL winner as captain of his team. At 6'9", he is also the tallest player in the League's history.
