The growth rate of the Slovak economy should accelerate to 4.3 percent this year and to 4.7 percent next year as a result of the launch of new production capacities in the automotive industry. This is reflected in an updated medium-term forecast from the Slovak Central Bank. Subsequently, GDP growth should slow down to 3.8 percent in 2020.
