New mission for the Slovak ´marsonaut´

Slovakia's own 'marsonaut' and President of the Slovak Organization for Space Activities, Michaela Musilová, is heading for another simulated mission to Mars. The mission will take place on Mauna Loa volcano in Hawaii this time and will be run by NASA with the aim of testing the psychological resilience of the crew. It will begin on February 15 and will last eight months. Musilová is taking some support along - a robot rover developed in Slovakia that will help her with geological research. Musilova will also try to involve Slovak students in the mission.
