Some 700 permanent employees of Samsung Electronics' plant in Voderady will be offered jobs to the other plant in Galanta, under the same conditions as they've worked so far, the company's compliance manager Ján Nemašik told the TASR press agency on Monday. Samsung has announced its decision to terminate production in Voderady after ten years in order "to manage more efficiently the production process in Slovakia". According to TASR, the relocation should start in the spring, with the main part of the process being carried out in June and July. The facilities in Voderady are now set be offered for rent to other entities.
