The profits of financial and non-financial corporations in Slovakia fell by 6.3 percent year-on-year to €2.659 billion, the Slovak Statistics Office informed.
The reason why companies saw less money was a drop in profits of financial corporations by 9.3 percent to €515 million, and those of non-financial corporations by 5.6 percent to €2.143 billion. The deterioration was caused by 'other financial brokers', whose profits fell by a considerable 44.9 percent to €75.5 million.
