This year, Slovakia will earmark a total of €15 million for traditional recipients such as Afghanistan and Kenya as well as new ones such as Syria, a source of refugees, according to the TASR press agency. The Government greenlighted SlovakAid on Wednesday. Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korčok said that the volume of SlovakAid, distributed in the form of grants by his ministry, swelled by 10 percent this year to a total of €7.2 million. In addition, Slovakia will contribute a sum of €3.5 million to trust funds.
